Description Just northeast of Ball, Louisiana, lies over 35 miles of Livingston Multiple-Use Trails. These trails loop through pine upland forest and the sandy hardwood bottoms, including numerous creek and stream crossings. The trails consist of two connected loops that vary in distance, and difficulty level. · Little Creek Trail 22.6 miles · Hickman Trail 12.5 miles Along with ORV use, the Livingston Multiple-Use Trails are enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikes, and horseback riders. The trail loops are marked with yellow markings, and the primary trailheads/staging areas are shown on the map. From Alexandria, take Louisiana Hwy 165 to Ball, Louisiana and turn right (east) onto LA Hwy 1204 and travel approximately 3 miles to the Little Creek Trailhead. To reach the Hickman Trailhead, keep traveling north on Hwy 165 from Ball and turn right onto Louisiana Hwy 3130. Turn left into the staging area at the trailhead signs.
