Description Îles-de-Boucherville National Park is a national park of Quebec, Canada. National Park Boucherville Islands is located just minutes from Montreal in the tourist area of Montérégie. The park is open year round from 8 am to sunset. However, for the winter period, from 1 November 2012 to 31 March 2013, the closing time is 16: 30 pm (entrance gate closes at 16 pm). A few kilometres from Montréal, right in the middle of the St. Lawrence, 5 little islands form Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville. This park offers green spaces, channels teeming with life and waterside trails. Walkers, cyclists and canoers come here for a breath of fresh air and a break from city noise. Many also take advantage of their visit to observe a very popular mammal: the white-tailed deer. Others enjoy a trip back in time to discover some of the First Nations that spent time on the park's islands. In the winter, Île Sainte-Marguerite offers hikers new landscapes and a more peaceful atmosphere. The flat terrain of the islands makes activities accessible to the whole family. Hikers can choose among three marked loops: Grand-Duc (1.5 km), Petite-Rivière (2.5 km) and Grande-Rivière (4 km).
